Marstrands Havshotell

The twin room I got was included with the bathroom, kitchen and comfy chairs. The breakfast had variety of excellent food and drinks. Location: the hotel was just next door to an island reachable by a ferry that goes back, and restaurant. The atmosphere created was quiet❤

This hotel features modern, airy rooms with a TV and coffee machine, has a friendly and competent staff, and offers outstanding food while you can enjoy the view of boats passing by.

We had a double room with a mini-fridge-bar, an air conditioning, and an individual safe.

We had a jam-packed itinerary, starting our mornings with challenging yoga sessions that got our hearts pumping. After that, we would head to the spinning classes where we would spin like maniacs and sweat it out. In the evenings, we would groove to the energetic beats of the Zumba classes. the amazing classes, we loved exploring the salty sea, hiking the thrilling trails, and immersing ourselves in the fascinating history and culture of Marstrand. It was an action-packed vacation that left us wanting more!

If there's one thing we wish could be improved, it's the lack of late-night party options for us young and party-going folks. While the hotel offered fantastic activities during the day, we were hoping for some vibrant nightlife to keep the fun going into the early hours.

This hotel features a brand-new restaurant with fantastic service, offering delicious dishes in a spacious setting with a lovely view of the street.

The venue is fantastic with absolutely perfect staff. the room is terrific, clean, and has big beds. There's an absolutely gorgeous view of the harbor, along with a shower, a hair dryer, and bath sheets in the bathroom. the location is particularly amazing, right by the sea facing Marstrand, and it's very convenient to the Priory Ruins.

I chose to stay at Marstrands Havshotell because I wanted to visit the nearby Carlsten Fortress. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the warming punch in the spirit of Oscar the 11th. The hotel's beachfront restaurant was also a highlight, with its beautiful pool view and the opportunity to dine alfresco. The menu at Ottos Vardagsrum & Kök was truly mouthwatering, offering delicious west coast-inspired dishes. I was impressed with the selection of drinks and dining options at the hotel.

One minor negative aspect of my experience at Marstrands Havshotell was the lackluster view from the rooms on the opposite side, which overlooked a massive car park. Additionally, the room fixtures felt quite cheap given the high price of the accommodation.

Great location, excellent gym, hot tubs, good breakfast selection, convenient ferry access.

For us it was ideal.

Sailed on a historic island, faced life challenges with bubbles, had unique workouts, enjoyed coffee on a terrace, mingled with 800 people. No way you can beat that.

Cracked walls, dirty windows, minimal room amenities, poor service, overpriced food and drinks. But hey, at least I had a beer in a nature harbor.

Amazing Harbor View and Delicious Cuisine

During our recent city break, we were thrilled to stay at a hotel with an incredible harbor view. We were lucky enough to be given a room with a stunning vista over the bustling quay. The cuisine at the hotel restaurant was delicious, and we enjoyed every meal there. Plus, the location was ideal, just a short walk to the harbor and the surrounding attractions.

We were disappointed to find that the spa facilities were limited and not as luxurious as expected. the room amenities were minimal, and we had to request basic items like a minibar and adequate wardrobe space.

The gym was spacious and well-equipped for a hotel. the outdoor hot tubs were a nice touch and added to the relaxation experience. the hotel had a great location near the water and offered stunning views of the bay.

The room did not live up to expectations. the furnishings were worn and outdated.

I had a wonderful stay at this place! The location was perfect, right on the seafront and very close to the ferry that takes you to the beautiful old part of the town. The rooms were modern, light, and airy, with great AC and plenty of storage space. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety, and I especially enjoyed the energy shots provided. The hotel also had excellent amenities like a gym with everything you could want, hot tubs on the patio, and a swimming pool. The staff were friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable.

I really was like I got my money's worth at the hotel. The room was bright, modern, and had a great AC. The location was perfect, right by the ferry and the beautiful coastal paths. The staff treated me with friendliness and helpfulness throughout my stay.

Breakfast delights, but could benefit from more variety.

Located at the picturesque Swedish West Coast, Ottos restaurant offers a fantastic location close to the ferry to access the beautiful Marstrand Island. the hotel features clean and modern rooms with air conditioning for a comfortable stay. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. the hotel boasts excellent spa facilities and a well-equipped gym, making it a perfect choice for a relaxing getaway.

The hotel lacks iron and ironing board in the rooms.
